Designed for Counterflow Packing Sections

In a counterflow tower, the fill sits between the water distribution system and the lower air inlet section. Water enters from above, and the air passes upward through the packing. For this arrangement, the channel openings and the way the fill is supported are both important.

The 20mm corrugation pitch provides relatively open passages compared with smaller-pitch fill designs. The 90° channel pattern keeps the internal passage arrangement straightforward, making this configuration an option for towers using vertical-channel packing.

Installation and Packing Dimensions

The fill is available for glued block assembly or hanging installation. Glued blocks can be produced to the required packing dimensions, while hanging configurations can be prepared for towers equipped with a compatible support system.

For replacement orders, we normally check the existing fill width, packing height, and support arrangement before confirming production dimensions. A correct width alone does not guarantee a proper fit, particularly when the tower has fixed support spacing or limited clearance around the packing section.
