How Does Splash Grid Fill Handle Fouling-Prone Cooling Water?

Splash Grid Fill uses an open grid structure to break and redistribute circulating water while maintaining relatively open passages for air and water. This makes it useful for cooling towers where fouling and suspended solids are concerns.

Open Passages Help Reduce Flow Blockage

Compared with closely spaced film fill sheets, the larger openings in splash grid fill provide more space for water and air to pass through. This can reduce the tendency for suspended particles and deposits to completely block the flow passages.

20mm Pitch and 90° Structure

This model uses a 20mm pitch and 90° structure. The grid geometry creates repeated contact points that help distribute and splash the circulating water as it moves through the fill.
